FROM COLUMBUS: Travel St. Rt. 33 east to Logan. Turn south on St. Rt. 93. Go 14 miles, crossing St. Rt. 56 at the flashing light. Continue south on 93 another 2.5 miles. Turn left on Bethel Road (purple Castle sign) and follow signs to the top of the hill.

FROM CINCINNATI: Travel east on St. Rt. 32 (the Appalachian Highway…all four lane) from Eastgate Mall about 1hour and 40 minutes to Jackson. Go north on St. Rt. 93 to McArthur. At the Courthouse, continue north on 93 seven miles. Just past Swan School, turn right on Bethel Road (purple Castle sign) and follow the signs to the top of the hill.

FROM DAYTON: Take St. Rt. 35 to Chillicothe, and then St. Rt. 50 east to McArthur. Turn left on St. Rt. 93 at the Courthouse and go seven miles north. Just past Swan School, turn right on Bethel Road (purple Castle sign) and follow the signs to the top of the hill.

FROM TOLEDO: Take I-75 to Findlay and then St. Rt. 23 southeast to the I-270 outer belt around Columbus. Follow I-270 southwest and pick up St. Rt. 23 again traveling south about 19 miles to Circleville.
 Then travel St. Rt. 56 east to Laurelville, into the Hocking Hills region, and past Ash Cave. About three miles past Ash Cave, turn south (right) on St. Rt. 93 and go 2.5 miles to Bethel Road (purple  Castle sign). Turn left on Bethel Road and follow the signs to the top of the hill.

FROM MARIETTA: Travel St. Rt. 50 west through Athens to McArthur. Turn right on St. Rt. 93 at the courthouse, and go seven miles north. Just past Swan School, turn right on Bethel Road (purple Castle sign) and follow the signs to the top of the hill.

FROM CLEVELAND: Find your way to Logan by whatever scenic routes you wish, and then travel south on St. Rt. 93 about 14 miles, crossing St. Rt. 56 at the flashing light. Continue south on St. Rt. 93 another 2.5 miles. Turn left on Bethel Road (purple  Castle sign) and follow signs to the top of the hill. For a faster, four-lane road most of the way, go south on I-77 to Marietta, and follow the directions above from Marietta.  up a l

Note: While you're in the neighborhood you'll want to visit Fiddlestix, for Appalachian Gifts, Americana, Collectibles, Arts and Crafts. Fiddlestix, is two miles north on St. Rt. 93 Just 1/4 mile South of the St. Rt. 93 and St. Rt. 56 intersection. Watch for the hanging "Quilts" sign.

ATTENTION BIKERS: Ravenwood Castle is on top of a hill, up a long driveway, off a gravel road. Our entrance and exit drives are steep, winding, graveled and sometimes rough, especially after a rain. These roads and driveways may not be suitable for bikers. Please use them only at your own risk. You could walk your bike up and down. Or you can park at the bottom of the hill and walk to the castle.
