Summer is winding down, the kids are back in school, and breweries everywhere are dusting off their seasonal recipes.  That’s right, although it’s not quite September yet, it’s time to celebrate Oktoberfest!

This is my favorite time of year in the Raven’s Roost Pub.  The Autumn decorations are going up, and the Autumn beers are coming in.  Our selection features some great brews from some very notable breweries, including:

• Breckenridge Autumn Ale
• Great Lakes Oktoberfest
• Fat Head’s Oktoberfest
• Left Hand Oktoberfest
• Buffalo Bill’s Original Pumpkin Ale
• Shipyard Pumpkinhead Ale

We’ll be adding to this list as new seasonals come out, and of course we continue to offer our complete hand picked selection of ales, lagers, porters, stouts and ciders!

But why wait until Oktoberfest officially kicks off on September 21st?  We’ll be adding these fine brews to the menu beginning this very weekend!  So stop on in to the Raven’s Roost Pub and get your Oktoberfest on!

The Raven’s Roost Pub is open to the public most Friday and Saturday evenings from 5:00 to 10:00.  Ravenwood Castle guests can enjoy the pub daily, although we are not able to serve alcoholic beverages on Sunday.
