Room Spotlight – Fletcher’s Cabin

In this week’s blog post we turn the Room Spotlight on one of our newest accommodations, the Fletcher’s Cabin.

The Fletcher’s Cabin features a private bedroom with queen bed, a separate bathroom with shower, a common room with kitchenette, a futon-for-two and an enclosed porch which overlooks the Hollow and the fire pit.

Perhaps best of all is the unfurnished sleeping loft that runs the entire width of the cabin. A treat for kids and adults alike (just don’t sit up too fast!), the loft is a great place to hang out with a book or board game. It makes a great bedroom for adventurous young ones as well, just be sure to bring along sleeping bags!

Huntsman Loft Area

The Fletcher’s sits amongst the cabins of the Huntsman’s Hollow, a rustic village located at the base of the castle hill. Its prime location gives it a commanding view of the entire Hollow, including all five cabins, the scenic creek and walking bridge, and the brand new fire pit – a great spot to gather with family and friends!

Ravenwood Huntsman Hollow

The Fletcher’s Cabin, along with all of the cabins in the Huntsman’s Hollow, is located a short trip down the driveway from Ravenwood Castle. For the adventurous guest, a walking trail connects the Hollow to the main castle property. This is great for those who enjoy a short hike when heading up for breakfast or to visit the Raven’s Roost Pub or game library. There is plenty of parking both at the Hollow and the castle itself for those who prefer a more rapid mode of transportation.

The next time you visit Ravenwood Castle, consider setting up camp in the Fletcher’s Cabin!
