The Case of the Crimson Claw – Sept 13th & 14th!
Every season the Ravenwood Detective Agency explores a variety of exciting themes. From science fiction to fantasy, ancient history to the far future, our intrepid adventurers tackle mysteries and puzzles in all sorts of worlds. At the end of each season we give our guests the opportunity to suggest an adventure of their own making. We were in for a bit of a surprise this last season, when they asked to adventure in a world much closer to home, a world with a twist that is…
What if magic were real? Not in a distant, far off universe, but right here, in our very own world. What if faeries and demons, vampires and werewolves, and all the other creatures of myth and legend were living amongst us, hidden in plain sight? How would these supernatural beings interact with regular humans, and where would they turn for help when things went bad? This year’s Choose Your Own Adventure winner is a supernatural detective themed mystery, based off of such popular urban fantasy series such as the Dresden Files and Supernatural. We bring you, the Case of the Crimson Claw.
The werewolves of the Hocking Hills were in a bit of a spot. Over the years the pack had expanded throughout the communities of central Ohio, and counted many prominent politicians, citizens and business owners amongst its numbers. They lived a comfortable life, and had managed to do so for decades without attracting any undue attention from the human population.
Then the vampires moved in. At first it was just one or two. Troublesome, but nothing the pack couldn’t live with. But as the vampires’ numbers grew, so too did the looming inevitability of a turf war. And now one of the bloodsuckers has turned up dead. Well, dead-er. All signs point towards foul play, and the vampires claim the werewolves are to blame.
The pack is being framed, but how can they prove it? The human police can’t be allowed to investigate, or werewolves and vampires alike will be exposed. The Alpha has called in the Ravenwood Detective Agency to clear the pack’s name, avoid a war with the vampires, and keep the very existence of both a secret!
Are the werewolves as innocent as they proclaim? If so, who would want them framed? Join us September 13th & 14th for the Case of the Crimson Claw to answer these questions and more. Tickets for The Case of the Crimson Claw are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on the first night. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
