Room Spotlight – The Huntsman’s Hollow Cabins
When you think of Ravenwood Castle, you probably think of our castle towers with the King Arthur and Queen Elizabeth suites or our beautiful Cinderella’s Coach House that overlooks the Medieval Villages. But in the valley at the base of the Castle hill there is one of our favorite places at Ravenwood: The Huntsman’s Hollow Cabins.
While ideal for family reunions or bachelor and bachelorette parties, the beauty of the Huntsman’s Hollow is its ability to provide for a memorable experience no matter the occasion. Although the Hollow is tucked away in its own secluded spot, guests in the Huntsman’s Hollow can still explore the entirety of the Ravenwood Castle property, and enjoy breakfast in the Great Hall each morning. The castle itself is only short ride up the driveway or for the more adventurous, a short hike up the hill!
The Fisher’s, Fletcher’s, Forester’s, Tanner’s, and Trapper’s cabins are situated around a private firepit circle complete with five swinging benches. This provides a perfect space for enjoying good conversation and a cold beer or making smores with the family after hiking and gaming all day.
Each cabin features a screened-in porch that can be used as a game space if it happens to rain during your visit. While the cabins themselves are similar on the outside, each boast personalized touches in their interior design. Inside, you’ll find a full-size kitchenette equip with plates, drinkware, a microwave, sink, toaster, and small refrigerator! A master bedroom features a Queen bed, the common room is furnished with a double futon, and the cabin is rounded out with a private bathroom with shower. Up a short ladder you’ll find an unfurnished loft that can be used for games, or with the help of a few sleeping bags, a fun night for the kids!
Whether for a family reunion, a friendly get together, or just a mid-summer vacation, the Huntsman’s Hollow makes a perfect destination. Book your Huntsman’s Hollow trip today, we look forward to having you stay with us!
