Weekend Werewolf Returns – Sept 11th & 12th!

Earlier this year the pandemic shutdown forced us to cancel our much anticipated Weekend Werewolf event. We were quite disappointed to have to do so, especially as we knew that the Professor von Gerd had put a lot of work into making this year’s event even bigger and better than before. We have spent the last few months working in conjunction with the Mad Professor, and are thrilled to announce that we have perfected the Ravenwood Reanimation Technology (patent pending) are have resurrected the Weekend Werewolf event, which will now be held the weekend of September 11th and 12th!

For those of you unfamiliar with this event, it is hosted by Mad Professor von Gerd, the star of our insanely popular Halloweekend events, and is a weekend full of social deduction, prizes, mystery, fun, and (of course) WEREWOLVES! Win trophies, medals, swag, and other fun memorabilia to immortalize your stay. Guests can choose to participate in any number of tabletop games, social activities, scavenger hunts, escape room-like puzzles, or the main event…Weekend Werewolf!

Enjoy any of the following activities:

Weekend Werewolf (the Main Event): If you are familiar with hidden role games like Mafia, Werewolf, Two Rooms and a Boom, or Secret Hitler, you’ll feel right at home playing Weekend Werewolf. Every guest is assigned a secret identity, each with a unique ability. Most guests will take on the roles of “innocent” guests. However, a random few will be evil creatures of the night, hell bent on devouring the innocent. Become the 2020 Weekend Werewolf Champion and walk away with the trophy by working with your fellow guests in an effort to figure out who you can trust, who you can’t, and who you want to eliminate. If the idea of a weekend long game like this tickles your fancy, then Weekend Werewolf is for you!

But that is not all! No guest is actually ever eliminated from the game. Once your character is “killed” you come back as a ghost. Ghosts earn points by manipulated the game, betting on who will be eliminated, figuring out who is evil, and convincing the living players to do your bidding! Earn the most points and walk away as the Undead Champion of the year!

Mystery of the Castle: is designed for guests that love escape rooms. Will you begin to notice the clues around you? What is behind that picture? Which book should you pull? Who has the correct combination?!? Every Mad Professor weekend event always as a unique mystery to be solved that requires discovering hidden clues, following leads, and piecing together a final solution. This puzzle usually takes diligent guests all weekend to solve, it is rarely attempted alone, and is the epitome of satisfaction once complete.

Classic Werewolf: will be the featured Friday evening introductory activity. If you have never experienced the game of Werewolf or Mafia, then this single game will give you all that you need to know about how. This is separate from the entire Weekend Werewolf event, as Friday night Werewolf takes place in a single evening.

Saysassin: will be played throughout the entire weekend. Participating guests will begin with a secret target they need to assassinate. How do you “saysassinate someone? You are given a list of “kill words” that, when said by your target, leads to your successful assassination of them. Can you get your target to say “spoon?” Try not to be too obvious. If your target figures you out, they can saysassinate YOU! The last two Saysassins have an ultimate showdown to earn the title (and trophy) of “Saysassinate Champion of 2020!”

Biddy Parts: will provide large group entertainment Saturday afternoon. In this macabre team-based game of odd auctions, everyone plays the role of mad scientist attempting to create the ultimate abomination. Body parts (fake, of course) will be put up for auction so that you may piece together your monstrous creation. Guests may bid any number of imaginary dollars they wish. HOWEVER! The highest and bid doesn’t win, but is instead chopped up and offered as the next auction. Can you be the second highest bidder or will you lose…your body parts.

Two Rooms and a Boom: divides the guests into two teams. The Blue Team has a President. The Red Team has a Bomber. Players are equally distributed between two rooms, and at the end of each of five timed rounds a few selected players trade rooms. If the Red Team’s Bomber is in the same room as the President at the end of the game, then the Red Team wins; otherwise the Blue Team wins.

Fairytale Betrayal: simulates a royal ball straight out of fairy tales. You play a classic character who has two quests to fulfill, one classic and one new. Cinderella needs her glass slipper, but maybe she also wants to become the next great wizard. Aladdin finds the genie, but maybe he wants to become the next great Easter Bunny? Red Riding Hood wants to be a dragon?!? Can you complete your missions before time runs out without giving away your character’s identity?

The Great Snake Safari: is a guest favorite. On Saturday night, after dinner, all guests are released into the wild for the Great Snake Safari! Find as many slither friends as you can and bring them back to the castle. Find the most and you win! Don’t worry, the snakes are rubber…mostly.

Thingy: has all guests acting as scientists trapped in a deep-sea laboratory. You are trying to escape but must work together to do so. Unfortunately, some of the guests are infected with a virus and or secretly sabotaging escape efforts while also infecting other guests.

Monster Monikers: Professor von Gerd brings guests together with his variant of the classic game of Celebrities. Participating guests must cooperate with one another against the clock. Can you get your team mates to guess what monster is on your card? At first you can say anything, then you can only say one word, finally…you can only act out to help your team guess the monster. It is another crowd favorite.

Scavenger Hunt: is for the guests that want to get out of the castle and explore beautiful Hocking Hills region. While exploring the many sites, caves, and hikes, take your camera. The guests that find the most oddities on our carefully curated list of scavenging will be given the honor (and trophy) of Scavenger Champion of 2020!

The Closing Ceremony: is on Sunday morning. While eating a wonderful breakfast of most epic deliciousness, all trophies and medals will be handed out to the champions of the weekend. Earn trophies from many of the aforementioned events, and earn medals by simply playing/socializing with others.

Join us the weekend of September 11th & 12th for a one of a kind weekend event!

Tickets for Weekend Werewolf are $75.

Weekend Werewolf is presented by Tuesday Knight Games, publisher of many great games, including the extremely popular Two Rooms and a Boom and That’s Not Lemonade!
