If you are one of our many returning guests, you know that here at Ravenwood Castle we pride ourselves on providing an unplugged experience, with twenty one unique accommodations and fifty three acres to explore, and a myriad of great activities. This makes each adventure to Ravenwood a new and exciting one! If you have not visited us at Ravenwood, you may wonder what type of amenities we offer that make us an unforgettable getaway. Raven’s Roost Pub

The Raven’s Roost Pub is open daily from 12:00-9:00 PM for all on-site guests.  The adjacent veranda and Pub patio are available for guest use, whether it be for a late-night Castle Butterbeer or game of Catan. Our Pub fare can be served to-go at any time if requested. We have added some new items to the Pub menu over the last few months and revamped some old favorites as well. Our Dragon Wings have been a recent crowd pleaser, but if you’re interested in heartier fare, check out our new and improved Excaliburger!

The Library

The Library is located only steps away from the Raven’s Roost Pub, which makes it a favorite among guests when it comes to gaming with a larger group. The library boasts a large center table, along with a couch, chairs and fireplace. Cozy up in the Library and get your game on! If you’re looking to host a private gaming group, email info@ravenwoodcastle.com for more information about renting out the Library.

But our Library isn’t only for gaming, it is also home to plenty of books and DVDs, available for guest use at any time during your stay! 

On-Site Hiking Trails

At the Castle, we have a network of on-site hiking trails which take you all over the grounds. You can adventure down to the Huntsman’s Hollow or just around the Medieval Village.  Maps are available at the front desk, or just explore and see where you wind up! If you’re looking for hiking opportunities, we are just a short drive to some of the most popular spots in Hocking Hills such as Old Man’s Cave and Ash Cave. Wherever you hike, be sure to quench your thirst at the Raven’s Roost Pub once you’ve completed your afternoon of adventuring! 

Scavenger Hunts

We have always encouraged guests to take the opportunity to explore the Ravenwood property, but recently we decided to take the opportunity to make a bit of a game of it. We have taken it upon ourselves to compile various Ravenwood Castle Scavenger Hunts for those of you who want to add a taste of adventure to your weekday or weekend escape. There is no shortage of nooks and crannies to explore at the Castle! You can pick up copies of the Starter and Intermediate Scavenger

Board Game Library

We have a board game library of 100+ games available for guest use at any time during your stay!  You are of course welcome to bring your own games with you or save some room in your suitcase and enjoy our extensive library. You will find classic nostalgic games such as Clue and Monopoly, alongside modern classics like Catan and Ticket to Ride. We have dice games, card games, cooperative games, strategy games, and many more. We even have a giant wooden Crokinole board in the Pub to test your dexterity!
