The year 2020 was a year that none of us expected. We found ourselves searching for places to go and things to do that that would allow us to have some semblance of normalcy, while still keeping ourselves and our loved ones safe. Many plans were put on hold, and more than a few special moments had to be postponed. But while things may have slowed down in some facets of our lives, here at Ravenwood, the wheels never stop turning. You may remember that we paid homage to the story of Rapunzel a few weeks ago in our Legends & Lore series. While at the time it was difficult to keep quiet about our exciting plans, today we are thrilled to announce one of our recent projects: the Rapunzel’s Tower remodel!

That’s right – Rapunzel’s Tower has gotten a royal makeover. We loved the room as it was – pictured above – but being the tallest point in the Ravenwood realm, we decided that it was high time to give it some upgrades and make it an even better place to enjoy a quiet midweek stay or a romantic weekend away. While we haven’t had a chance to have the professional photography done yet, we couldn’t resist sharing a few snapshots of the results!

Upon entering, the first change you may notice is the new plush carpeting and a pair of even comfier chairs. Bundling up next to the fireplace at the end of a long day just got even better!

When you’re ready to hit the hay, get ready for a great night’s sleep. We said goodbye to the queen size bed and welcomed in the new king size bed which is sure to provide you with spacious comfort throughout the duration of your stay. Not only that, but the bedside desks have charging stations in the back for ultimate convenience.

When we say bigger and better, we really mean it. The entire bathroom in Rapunzel’s got a face lift, making it more spacious than ever. There’s new bathroom flooring and lighting, all the better to see yourself in with an upgraded mirror and vanity! There is a pocket door for added space and new robe/towel hooks.

Adventure to Ravenwood Castle this year and book yourself a stay in Rapunzel’s Tower. Unlike Rapunzel, you may find yourself not wanting to leave! In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled, we’ll be updating the website with more photos of the remodel as soon as possible!
