As we begin once again ramping up our event schedule, our team is hard at work planning our premier gaming convention, the TENTH annual Hoop & Stick Con!

Hoop & Stick Con 2022 will be held Thursday February 24^th through Sunday February 27th, 2022. As I say every year, Hoop & Stick Con is four days of gaming goodness, in a castle, for charity – it really doesn’t get any better!

Led by long time Hoop & Sticker Mike, the crew from Ohio Pathfinder Society will be with us once again to run sessions of Pathfinder, Starfinder, and Pathfinder Adventure Card Game. Our guest Game Masters from The Malted Meeple will be returning as well, and will be running sessions of Dungeons and Dragons and a variety of other systems.

But Hoop & Stick Con is about more than just role playing games. There will be plenty of board gaming as well. The castle’s board game library will be available for play and the Great Hall will be largely dedicated to open board gaming. We will also surely see the return of Giant Castle Panic!

At Hoop & Stick Con 2020, we raised over $14,000 for Extra Life and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Though Hoop & Stick Con 2021 had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, we still managed to raise $6,700, bringing our nine year total to $82,000! We intend to set our sights high again this year, and to hopefully resume our streak of ever increasing fundraising milestones. To succeed we are going to need your help. Every year the available rooms for Hoop & Stick Con fill up extremely quickly, and as a reward for long time attendees we offer our convention alumni a brief preregistration window. With this being the tenth anniversary convention, we expected rooms to fill even more quickly than usual. Even so, we were pleasantly surprised when rooms completely sold out within one hour and forty five minutes from the start of preregistration! As a result we currently have no rooms available for booking. Cancellations are always possible however.
