Con in the Castle 2022!

The weather is starting to warm, so our thoughts are turning to summer and the return of our summer gaming convention! We are thrilled to announce that Con in the Castle is back this year, and will be held July 15th and 16th, 2022!

Con in the Castle includes three days of board games, role playing sessions, and general gaming goodness, all – as one might expect – in a castle. This year’s Con in the Castle features a very special Guest of Honor – Alan Gerding of Tuesday Knight Games!

Although this is Alan’s debut as Guest of Honor at Con in the Castle, he is no stranger to Ravenwood Castle. Alan, or more accurately his alter-ego The Mad Professor Von Gerd, is the host of our extremely popular Weekend Werewolf and Halloweekend events. In lieu of the Mad Professor’s typical shenanigans, Alan will be sharing some of Tuesday Knight Games’ game lineup with us, including Two Rooms and a Boom, That’s Not Lemonade, and their brand new Mothership RPG.

In addition to these hits from Tuesday Knight Games, we will have a variety of Learn To Play sessions featuring various board games, and of course all of the games in Ravenwood’s board game library will be available for general play.

It wouldn’t be a Ravenwood Castle game convention without role playing games, so we will once again offer scheduled sessions of Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and other systems. Game Masters from the Ohio Pathfinder Society and the Malted Meeple will be joining us to run these sessions and more!

Finally, it’s no accident that Con in the Castle is scheduled for the peak season for outdoor activities in the Hocking Hills. In addition to the gaming activity at the convention itself, guests who wish to experience some real life adventure can take advantage of nearby zip lines, canopy tours, hiking, canoeing and horseback riding.

Join us the weekend of July 15th & 16th for Con in the Castle 2022! Tickets for Con in the Castle are $75 and include Saturday night’s dinner. Click the “Reservation” button in the upper right of this page to book your room, they’re sure to go fast!
