Murder by Merry Men – March 14th & 15th!

It’s hard to believe, but this week’s announcement marks the second to last murder mystery of the 2024-2025 season! For the penultimate mystery of the season we’ve sent our Detectives into yet another new setting, a forest populated by that most famous of outlaws, Robin Hood and his band! Please join Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan as they and the Ravenwood Detective Agency take on Murder by Merry Men…

Deep in the woods lay Ravenwood Castle. The outpost often served as a respite for travelers along the King’s Road, which passed through the forest nearby. The castle staff shared the trees with a variety of woodland creatures, the occasional hunter, and of course the forest’s most famous occupants – the band of outlaws led by that most well-intentioned of rogues, Robin Hood. The Merry Men as they were known weren’t bad as far as neighbors went. They left the castle alone and generally didn’t cause any trouble – unless of course you were a rich merchant. Even then, while the band gleefully relieved the passing merchants of their wealth, they made it a point to do so without hurting anyone.

Which is why it was such a surprise when one crisp morning the staff found a body lying at the castle’s door. A green feathered arrow, a well known signature of Robin Hood’s men, stuck from the corpse’s back.

As the shock fades, whispers of treachery ripple through the forest. Could one of Sherwood’s fabled protectors have really committed this heinous act? Or is there a darker force at work, seeking to destroy the trust and camaraderie of Robin’s band? The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us March 14th & 15th for Murder by Merry Men!

Tickets for Murder by Merry Men are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2024-2025 event season!
