Where To Stay

With 21 unique accommodations, choosing your room is your first decision! Here are a few of our favorites:

• Woodcutter’s Cottage, located in the Medieval Village, boasts a king bed and whirlpool tub for two. With a back porch for late-night stargazing or early morning coffees, this is an ideal room for a quiet escape.
• Cinderella’s Coach House features beautiful stained glass, a king bed, and a double whirlpool tub. A stay in Coach House is sure to make you feel like royalty, all while being just steps away from the Castle proper.
• Queen Victoria offers a luxurious atmosphere with its deep maroons and cozy couch by the fireplace, making it a guest favorite.

What To Do

During your stay, there’s plenty to do without ever leaving the castle grounds!

• Enjoy learning a new board game together. With 150+ games to choose from, there is something for everybody in our game library. Borrow a few favorites and play in the Library, or take some new finds to learn back to the comfort of your room. Tsuro and Onitama are engaging two player games for those looking for a challenge. If you’re seeking something cooperative, Castle Panic is sure to bring you and your partner closer as you work together to defend your castle.
• Spend time in the Raven’s Roost Pub. Craft beer, bourbons, Castle Butterbeers, wine, and specialty cocktails are all available alongside a menu of Pub fare. Find your drink of choice, order some Excaliburgers, and relax in a common area or back in your room.
• Work together on our scavenger hunts. We have four self-guided scavenger hunts that send you on a quest to check off all the items. You’ll be rewarded for your efforts although we like to think the best prize is the fun you have along the way!
• Plan a sweet surprise. When you’re booking, you have the chance to make your stay extra special with add-ons like our Wine & Cheese Package or the Romance Package. For our NA guests, you can substitute a bottle of wine for six craft sodas, just be sure to add a note when making your reservation.

Beyond the Castle walls, Hocking Hills offers plenty of opportunities for adventure on your romantic getaway.

• Take a hike! The Castle is central to some of the best hiking the area has to offer including Old Man’s Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls.
• Book a relaxing treatment or massage. Hocking Hills Traveling Massage will come to the Castle where you can enjoy a couples massage right in the comfort of your room. If you’re out and about, Hocking Hills Sauna Pods and Hocking Hills Serenity Salt Cave are surefire ways to unwind and relax.
• Visit a local winery like Revolution Rockbridge! Located only 30 minutes from the Castle, this family-owned craft winery has  great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a huge selection of unique wines.
• Go stargazing in one of Ohio’s best dark sky areas, the John Glenn Astronomy Park.
