Summer is just getting started, but the twisted minds of the planners here at Ravenwood Castle are already turning our attention to the Fall event season. We plan to start the season off with a bang, with a Halloween double feature combo event!

Join us Thursday, October 30th for an Evening with Edgar Allan Poe. In this encore of last year’s popular presentation, you will enjoy dinner and a show in the Great Hall. The actors from Rough Magic will once again pay tribute to the father of that most famous of ravens. We promise, this midnight won’t be dreary!

Tickets for an Evening with Edgar Allan Poe are $50, and include Thursday night’s dinner. Tickets are available for on-site guests and the public alike.

Following Edgar Allan Poe is a tall order, but if anyone can do it, it’s the Shadow Stalkers! Ravenwood Detectives new and old are called to duty the weekend of October 31st and November 1st for our first mystery of the 2014-2105 season: Murders in Masquerade!

This special Halloween adventure arrives just as darkness falls across the land. The midnight hour is close at hand! Join us for a weekend of dark experiments, unnatural creatures, and the sleepiest of Hollows. Be sure to pack your garlic, stakes and silver bullets.

Tickets for Murders in Masquerade are $100, and include Saturday night’s dinner. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

Please note that while many of our guests will enjoy combing An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe and Murders in Masquerade for an extra-long weekend of creepy goodness, it is perfectly acceptable to attend just one or the other of these events.
