Christmas Past, Present & Future – Dec 7th & 8th!
The leaves are just starting to turn, so it seems a bit odd to be thinking of Christmas. Be that as it may, we here at Ravenwood Castle have had Christmas on our minds for some time now. You see, we put on a lot of seasonal events and celebrations each year, but we’ve always felt that we just weren’t doing enough for the Christmas season. Sure, we hold our annual Tudor Christmas dinner, but a single night event just doesn’t seem to do Christmas justice. This year, we set out to fix that.
We know it’s still three months away, but we’re just too excited to wait. We’re thrilled to announce our newest event weekend, Christmas Past, Present & Future! Join us December 7th & 8th for a weekend long celebration of all things Christmas!
In celebration of Christmas Past, we will kick the weekend off with our annual visit by King Henry VIII and his court. As always the king will be traveling with a retinue of entertainers, and guests will enjoy a variety of acts including a troupe of mummers, singing, and possibly even fire dancing!
Saturday will focus on Christmas Present, and will feature a wide variety of entertaining activities including the ever popular ugly sweater contest, a cookie decorating contest, and of course a Christmas Tree decoration!
We will wrap up the weekend on Sunday with a view of Christmas Future. Enjoy breakfast with a very special, extra-jolly red-suited visitor, and then be sure to share your hopes and desires for future seasons with a very special Christmas Wish Letter!
So join us the weekend of December 7th & 8th for a celebration of Christmas Past, Present & Future! Tickets for the Christmas Past, Present & Future weekend are $100 per person, and include dinner both nights. Please note that the event starts with dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
