The first mystery in the 2023-2024 Murder Mystery season is nearly upon us! We still have a few weeks to wait however, so in the meantime, I thought I’d distract our mystery fans in the best way possible – with the announcement of another mystery! In today’s announcement, Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan will lead our agents in a cryptid themed mystery! What’s a cryptid you ask? Cryptids are animals whose existence is disputed or unsubstantiated by science. Think Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the chupacabra and such. These animals, considered monsters by some, may be myth, they may be legend, or they may be real. In the dimly lit corridors of Ravenwood Castle an eerie stillness hangs in the air, broken only by the distant echo of footsteps and the occasional rustle of unseen creatures. Vaulted ceilings adorned with cobwebs and faded tapestries bear witness to the ancient secrets hidden within these walls. The castle is nestled amidst the mist-covered hills, deep in a forest which holds a reputation as a sanctuary for the supernatural, a place where mythical creatures and cryptids are said to roam freely.

But tonight, the castle’s mystical allure is tainted by a sinister incident. A murder most foul has taken place, shattering the fragile harmony that existed between humans and the enigmatic beings that called Ravenwood home. The victim, a renowned cryptozoologist, was a tireless explorer of the unknown, dedicated to uncovering the truth behind the legends that permeated these ancient grounds.

As news of the murder spreads, a sense of foreboding settles over the castle’s inhabitants. Rumors abound of a long-standing rivalry between the cryptids, whispers of animosity brewing beneath the surface. Has one of these vengeful creatures sought retribution for the intrusion into their hidden world? Or are there more human motives at play?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us November 3^rd & 4^th for the Case of the Monstrous Maulings!

Tickets for the Case of the Monstrous Maulings are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
