The 2023-2024 Murder Mystery season is in full swing, with two mysteries behind us and two more already on the calendar. In today’s announcement, we move into the second half of the season, as Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan lead our detectives through another mystery in one of our most popular settings, the wizardly world of the Ravenwood School of Myth and Magic! Please join us as the Ravenwood Detective Agency takes on the case of the Perilous Potions…

The students of the Ravenwood School of Myth and Magic were well aware that magic held its own brand of danger, but nothing could have prepared them for the sinister turn of events that unfolded within the ancient stone walls of their beloved institution. The potions classroom, a place where bubbling cauldrons and simmering ingredients had once been a source of fascination and wonder, now bore witness to an unfathomable crime.

In the midst of an ordinary class, when the air was thick with the scent of rare herbs and arcane brews, a life was snuffed out under the most mysterious and troubling circumstances. A respected and accomplished potions master, Professor Blackthorn, lay lifeless upon the cold stone floor, amidst a pile of broken potion bottles and a spreading pool of magical liquids.

The shocking discovery of Professor Blackthorn’s demise sent ripples of fear and confusion throughout Ravenwood. As the school’s enchanted wards and spells failed to provide answers, the pressing question lingered: Was this an intentional act of malicious murder, or a horrendous accident? Who would have the audacity to commit such a heinous act within the very crucible of magical education? What motives lay hidden in the potions classroom, where elixirs and poisons danced hand in hand and secrets brewed alongside magical concoctions?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us January 26^th & 27^th for Perilous Potions!

Tickets for Perilous Potions are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.
