Shadow of von Ravenwood – Nov 8th & 9th!

The 2024-2025 event season is nearly upon us, and this week I am excited to announce the fourth mystery of the upcoming season. Please join Chief Detectives Michelle and Ryan as they lead the Ravenwood Detective Agency in the fourth installment of our vampire themed mysteries, the Shadow of von Ravenwood…

It has been years since Ravenwood Castle suffered a series of gruesome and mysterious murders. Stories of those troubled times read as if from a fantasy novel, complete with grisly deaths, dastardly vampires and heroic monster hunters. Most have come to believe that stories are all the incidents ever were, clever marketing spin layered over an unrelated series of unfortunate – but entirely natural – deaths. Many believe that the long lost Count von Ravenwood is nothing but a fictional creation, a modern day legend.

But legends never truly die.

On a stormy winter night, perhaps not coincidentally exactly seven years from the original mysterious death, an unsuspecting group of guests find themselves enjoying the beginnings of a weekend at Ravenwood Castle. As evening descends the winds howl and the lightning cracks, creating a series of eerie shadows on the castle walls. In the silence between thunderclaps, a scream rings out from a corner of the Great Hall. There, lying at the foot of the stairs is a freshly made corpse, drained of blood, with apparent puncture marks on their neck.

Whispers of the vampire lord’s return spread through the castle halls. Paranoia takes root as the guests begin to suspect each other, wondering if one among them is a killer in disguise – or worse, if there was some truth to the stories after all.

As night falls over Ravenwood Castle, the lines between legend and reality blur. Could it be that the ancient evil has returned to claim his ancestral home? Or is there a more mundane explanation for the murder? The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us November 8th & 9th for the Shadow of von Ravenwood!

Tickets for the Shadow of von Ravenwood are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

And stay tuned for more announcements about our exciting 2024-2025 event season!
