The Killer Campaign – Nov 1st & 2nd!

The air in the Ravenwood Castle library was thick with anticipation as a group of friends gathered around a table, prepared for another fantastic night of Dungeons and Dragons. The game master described the perilous dungeon with meticulous detail, his voice echoing off the walls. Dice clattered, character sheets rustled, and occasional bursts of laughter punctuated the tense atmosphere. As the night wore on, the group’s camaraderie began to falter. Tensions rose as one player’s character, a valiant paladin, faced a gruesome demise at the hands of an orc chieftain. Visibly frustrated, the player shoved his chair back, mumbling about needing a break. The others continued the game, their attention momentarily diverted.

Minutes later, a blood-curdling scream shattered the silence. Everyone rushed to the corner of the Pub to which the player had retreated. There, slumped against the wall, lay the player’s lifeless body. A faint trickle of blood seeped from his temple, in an eerie mirror of the fatal wound suffered by his character. The friends stared in horror, the line between their fictional adventure and harsh reality now gruesomely blurred.

In the flickering candlelight, suspicion began to creep in. Surely it was mere coincidence that the player’s death followed so soon after the death of his character… or was it? Could there really be a connection between the game world and reality? Had someone taken the game too far, or was something more sinister at play?

The Ravenwood Detective Agency is calling all agents, novice and veteran alike, to answer these questions and more. Join us November 1st & 2nd to tackle The Killer Campaign!

Tickets for The Killer Campaign are $100. As with all of our mysteries, the event starts after dinner on Friday. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible, but to enjoy the full experience please attempt to arrive early Friday evening.

SPECIAL NOTE: Please be aware that while the theme of this mystery involves a game of Dungeons and Dragons gone wrong, the event itself is a murder mystery weekend with all of the usual activities, and is not in fact a game of Dungeons & Dragons.
